It's Time 4 Better Pay-Days!

.
. Pay-Day Fridays on 'Time 4 Hemp - LIVE!'
A 12-part special about INDUSTRIAL HEMP

Hosted by Casper Leitch and first broadcast on
http://www.AmericanFreedomRadio.com

(Hyper-links to each segment are located
at the bottom of this press release.
Above is a sample segment for you to review.)

'Time 4 Hemp - LIVE!' recently produced a special 12-part series on INDUSTRIAL HEMP with an emphasis of the number of jobs that would be created from manufacturing the many different products that can be made from this one amazing plant. The cannabis plant is often associated with the name 'marijuana', which is harvested from strains of cannabis that have high levels of THC. In reality, this is a '3-Card Monty Trick' a handful of Wall St. companies have played in order to maintain their fortunes. By growing industrial hemp, the manufacturing sector can produce 50,000 different products that are in direct competition with companies now operating in every aspect of our lives. Legalizing industrial hemp in America would give our farmers a cash crop that would transfer nearly 72% of the wealth now in the pockets of the 1% directly into the pockets of the 99% in less than 18-months. Along with this sudden transfer or wealth, the paradigm of humankind would shift in a twinkle of an eye.

For every acre of hemp grown for paper pulp, 20 acres of trees are saved. You can use the stalk of the plant to produce material strong enough to build walls for homes. Those two facts alone scare the lumber industry. Legalizing industrial hemp would nearly shut down timber companies that are raping the planet of trees at a rate of 1-acre per minute and put American farmers back to work and create local employment on a massive scale.

You can make any type of plastic from hemp; any type of oil (cooking or heating); any type of paint; and an amazingly clean fuel to run our cars, buses, and planes. Those three facts alone scare OPEC. Legalizing industrial hemp would nearly shut down OPEC companies that are drilling from the earth the fossil fuels which destroy our lands and waters when spilled and pollute our air when used. Legalizing industrial hemp would put American farmers back to work and create local employment on a massive scale producing these various of products.

Industrial hemp can be grown as a profitable, high-quality fiber crop without producing marijuana. Registered seed varieties that produce hemp containing less than 0.3% THC even in the flowers are available throughout Europe. Farmers in the EU have been growing hemp for over 20 years without any problems related to marijuana. Industrial hemp crops have been subsidized in the European Community since before 1988. In 1993, England began to produce hemp for fiber. In 1994, Canada harvested its first crop of industrial hemp after more than 50 years of prohibition. The re-emerging global hemp industry is growing steadily with the United States being the LAST ONE to catch up with the open market.

According to the United States Office of National Drug Control Policy, Adidas, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and a few other companies imported over $1.2 million of hemp fiber last year and retailed from that more than $70 million worth of products from their investment. BMW and other car makers are creating auto parts using hemp oil (which helps in part to keep those jobs from returning to America due to the policies of prohibition). There is also a multimillion dollar hemp food industry filling the shelves of American stores, from food to tanning lotion, that U.S. farm and labor markets could greatly prosper from.

Hemp has been valued throughout America's history as an important raw material. Until the late 1800s, almost all of our cloth was made from hemp, and virtually all of our paper was made from hemp rags. From 1631 to the early 1800s, hemp was such a valued commodity that it was considered legal tender (money). Regions of Kentucky and Wisconsin were among the largest hemp producers.

Hemp production seemed destined to increase dramatically in the 1930s, when an invention called the decorticator began getting wide attention. The decorticator strips the hemp fiber from the stalk. This had been the most labor-intensive and expensive part of producing hemp. The decorticator was to hemp what the cotton gin was to cotton. The invention prompted a 1937 Popular Mechanics magazine to call hemp the "New Billion Dollar Crop" and Mechanical Engineering magazine to call it "The Most Desirable Crop That Can Be Grown."  Henry Ford had developed a car made from hemp that was also designed to run on fuel derived from hemp seed. However, the 1937 Marijuana Tax Act dealt a fatal blow to the promising hemp industry.

With the disastrous state of the global economy, it is more important than ever that hemp prohibition in America be repealed. Doing so will create several million jobs in less than 12 months; free us from being dependent on foreign oil; make available safe medications for the desperately ill; empty many of the cells in today's over-crowded prisons; and generate trillions of dollars in tax revenue that is currently funding black-market crime.
